The bar has six keg beers and one cask conditioned ale. Felinfoel Double Dragon is our standard "real ale" and we stock another hand pumped guest real ale during busy times. Our wine list has many wines from around the globe to choose from.
We also have an excellent selection of liqueurs and spirits. Our extensive collection of single malt whiskeys has been commented upon being the best in the area and is complemented by Penderyn single malt Welsh whiskey.

The Black Lion Hotel Supports Welsh Farming and we wish our guests to sample the true taste of Wales. We serve homemade, delicious food from all our menus including a specials board,and we try to keep our food seasonal.
Every Sunday we serve a traditional roast,with local meats and fresh vegetables. We also have a childrens menu for our younger guests.
We seek the highest standard foods, many are National or International award winners like Multi award winning Gorwydd Farm Caerphilly cheese, produced at Llandewi Brefi and Merlin Goats Cheese produced in neighbouring village Pontrhydygroes.Welsh lamb and beef provided by Dai Davies, family butcher of Tregaron.
Free range eggs provided by Birchgrove Eggs of Trawscoed, produced to highest RSPCA Freedom Food standard. Gold award winning sausages are produced by Rob Rattray of Aberystwyth. Our fresh bread is supplied by local baker, Henry.
